Why You Should Curate Content
1) It helps you with creating new content
Have you ever gone to start creating content and just found yourself blanking out?
I know I have.
This is a problem because these days you need to have content ready to share.
But here’s the thing: creating content takes time – lots of time.
So what do you do if you’ve got nothing?
Well, try sharing something that someone else made.
This does two things:
- gives you something to share
- supports the other person
- gives your audience a perspective they might not have considered
- enables you to help them when you’re not the best person for a subject
2) It opens the doors for relationships
One of the most important things you can do is to create relationships with others online.
Creating relationships can lead to you:
- getting support from other people
- finding new audiences who would not know you
- potential partnerships that can lead to money down the road.
So how do you find these people?
One easy way is to share their content. By offering to help others, you’ll create reciprocity and start a bond that can lead to greater things down the road.
